SEGNO DI PASSAGGIO

"Segno di passaggio" is the result of a musical project started a few years ago by the collaboration with Ottavio Massarenti, poet and great friend, who, very kindly, allowed me to use some of his poetic lyrics and turn them into songs.

One of my challenges was not to alter the original metrics: to get this result I fell into the character of each lyric, like an actor, to permeate and fully share its essence, and from here, the music began to flow and become, obviously, my own personal interpretation of their content.

To the collection are added two songs of which I am also the author of the lyrics and a song "Contorni da perdere" of which I composed the music several years before, with different words but having the same content, and which instead, magically combined with one of Ottavio's lyrics ... "you often intimately know that some pieces of the puzzle will find their right place at the right time."

What we have experienced since then has been a great experience, a sharing of feelings, in seeing words and music turning into songs. And this is what I would like to share with all of you.
